Positive psychology focuses on the strengths and virtues that enable individuals and communities to thrive. It differs from traditional psychology in that while the latter often focuses on fixing what's wrong, positive psychology emphasizes enhancing what's right.

Eudaimonia, a term with roots in ancient Greek philosophy, often translates as "flourishing" or "the good life." It contrasts with the more transient and emotional state of hedonia, which pertains to pleasure or happiness in the moment. Eudaimonia is about fulfilling one's potential, living in accordance with virtue, and leading a life that is deeply satisfying in a meaningful way.
